APP Neurosurgery (PA or ACNP) - Banner University Medicine Phoenix - Banner Health

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Neurosurgery team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a leading Neurosurgeon, providing comprehensive care to our patients. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

- Performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures

- Interpreting diagnostic tests

- Prescribing medications

- Educating patients and their families

- Conducting consultations

- Participating in research activities

- Attending inpatient rounds

- Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams

- Managing a neurosurgery service in a fast-paced environment

- Offering flexible schedule availability

- Treating patients with Epilepsy and Functional Neurosurgical disorders

Required Qualifications:

- Board Certification

- Preferred background in Neurosurgery

- No minimum years of experience required

- RNFA not required

- Current Arizona Medical License upon hire

- Critical Care training and experience preferred

- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications

- Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances
