APP (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant)

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.
As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will manage health problems and coordinate health care for the Oncology/Hematology patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). You will also conduct perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management in collaboration with other health care team members.
We require:
Salary up to $165,000/year based on experience.

We require:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or PA program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure/ Physician’s Assistant License.
- At least one (1) year of experience in Oncology/Hematology helpful.
- Strong computer skills; experience in EMR useful.
- Rounding Stonybrook Hospital
