Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant discipline.
- Three or more years of relevant QA systems and various application technology testing strategy experience, preferably in banking or financial services industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate SQL skills, including the ability to create complex SQL queries with little or no guidance (both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle)
- Strong aptitude around data structures and data relationships
- Ability to read and understand data transformation rules and formulate appropriate testing strategies and scripts
- Ability to maintain and enhance test scripts for applications supported by various languages including responsibility for in-house production systems.
- Experience documenting and tracking defects.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability for occasional work outside normal business hours.
- Availability for occasional travel.
- Background in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence
- Experience in automated test case execution
- Financial systems experience preferred.
- Skills with ETL (Informatica), Reporting (Cognos), Analytics (Tableau)
- Experience with test plan/case design, development, and execution on a variety of technology platforms.
- Knowledge of how assigned applications support the business.
