About the Job
What you’ll do
- Assist with home repair service calls.
- Assist with diagnosis and repair of appliances in customers’ homes (e.g., washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves and refrigerators)
- Assist with providing accurate pricing estimates for repairs
- Help manage inventory and vehicle maintenance
- Help maintain company vehicle and equipment cleanliness and organization
- Provide feedback and training to store teams and assist with in-store repairs
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
- Ability to lift 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations and up to 150 pounds with help
- 6 months of experience with appliance repair service
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
