Our Application DBA will create innovative physical database designs and structures. A successful candidate will have a combination of technical skills, communication skills and business knowledge. The Application DBA will be able to take oral and written business requirements and develop efficient code to meet deliverables.

The Application DBA will be able to take oral and written business requirements and develop efficient code to meet deliverables.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in designing large transactional and reporting applications on Oracle.
- Expert on SQL coding, performance tuning, analyzing IO, parallel query, query plans and tuning plans.
- Strong Linux skills
- Experience with multi-tier system development
- Experience building and supporting mission critical applications
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to set the direction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in multiple software development lifecycle phases, including design, construction, and testing
- Lead and mentor junior team.
- Type of Credentials/Licenses: Oracle certification
- Five or more years of experience in database administration and application development
- Looking for a senior database candidate with 10+ years of experience in building out large projects.
- Candidate should be able to analyze query plans, AWR, ASH and come up with effective solutions. Advanced knowledge in Oracle Database is required.
- Candidate will work closely with our business and must demonstrate professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction.
