Job Title: Application Developer

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft.Net Framework (3.5 and higher) and Visual Studio 2010 or higher.
· Advanced SQL programming skills (T-SQL preferred)
· Experience with Microsoft Office tools automation using VBA
· Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills
Essential Duties includes, but are not limited to:
· Codes, tests and debugs software applications for the Investment Management Division, aligned with approved architectural direction, and using a variety of development languages.
· Follows an established Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for all projects.
· Documents all code and user procedures as requested.
· Develops stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL.
· Develops reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Excel, and/or Access using VBA automation.
· Develops reports using 3rd party application data schema and report writing tools.
· Works in partnership with application and data architects to ensure proper integration of new solutions into existing environments.
· Works closely with Enterprise IT to ensure development aligns with infrastructure capacity and technology environment requirements.
· Works with database administrators to design logical and physical data models and ensure efficient flow and storage of information.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (or High School graduation or equivalent and substitute full-time responsible work experience for the required education on a year for year basis).
· Proven track record of developing and deploying Enterprise grade solutions on time and within budget.
· Five years of full-time computer programming experience, including requirements gathering and refinement, creating specifications, developing code to address requirements, conducting unit testing, responding to QA findings, and maintaining those applications once they have been deployed. Five years of experience developing in a major database environment (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
· Solid understanding of computer software applications, including strong spreadsheet presentation skills, database applications, and report writing/querying tools
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft.Net Framework (3.5 and higher) and Visual Studio 2010 or higher. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database environment
· Advanced SQL programming skills (TSQL preferred)
· Experience with SSRS BI Development Suite Experience writing and tuning TSQL stored procedures
· Experience with data/transfers/sharing using flat files, DB links, etc.
· Experience with Microsoft Office tools automation using VBA Proven analytical and complex problem solving skills
