About the Job
We are looking for an Applications Developer with web architectures experience.
I currently have a position set to start at the end of March in Seattle, WA for a 6 - 18 month contract. The candidate must be local to Washington and we are accepting EAD, GC, H1B and US Citizen candidates. Candidate must be able to interview face to face, there are no WebEx or Skype interviews allowed. Application Developer
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay: DOE
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or military experience
- 12+ year's experience with Enterprise application design and construction with an emphasis on web architectures
- 7+ year's experience with Web control / UI design and construction with an emphasis on web applications
- 3+ year's experience in SOA environments working with SOAP and/or RESTful web services
- Expert-level abilities in CSS, MVC, HTML, DHTML, JQuery and JavaScript
- Beginner level abilities in .NET (C#), ASP.NET
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar degree
- Expert-level abilities in HTML, MVC, jQuery, CSS, and JavaScript
- Beginner level abilities in .NET (C#), ASP.NET
- Strong working knowledge of OO design and common design patterns
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and IIS platform
- Proven track record of delivering quality, mission critical, enterprise systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, T-SQL, Sybase, and SQL Server
- Experience with recognized industry patterns, methodologies, and techniques
- Experience with AccuRev, Hudson, AntHill Pro and other continuous integration tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to evangelize UI style and design approaches, promoting appropriate compromises between creative desires and browser-based UI limitations
- Familiarity with Agile engineering practices
