Position Title: Application Development Senior Advisor

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in TypeScript, React, Express.js, and Node.js. They will play a key role in implementing a custom Backstage.io platform. This project involves extensive API integrations and the development of robust, scalable solutions.

Schedule Notes:

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm any time zone position

WFH - but would like to see candidates within commuting distance of the Bloomfield, CT location if possible

BA preferred, but not required

Candidates must have experience in Typescript, React & Node.js

Must have at least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design and implementation of a custom Backstage.io platform. 
• Develop and maintain the front-end application using React and TypeScript. 
• Build and enhance back-end services using Node.js with Express.js. 
• Integrate various APIs and ensure seamless data flow between different systems. 
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. 

Qualifications: 

• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development. 
• Expert skill in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with Express.js. 
• Strong understanding of API integration and management. 
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred, may consider relevant experience in lieu of a degree

• This role is fully remote and open to candidates across the US, W2

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

• The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $54.31/hour-$72.41/hour
