Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for talented and passionate Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in computer / server architecture, You will be responsible in providing technical supports to our enterprise, data centers, and HPC customers, and working with Product Manager to provide the best customer service. The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in computer/server product as well as exceptional communication skill -- ability to interface with all level of management staffs in professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Work closely with customers to resolve technical issues including motherboard, server systems on the phone or by E-mails
• Work with various internal teams, R&D HW, SW, production to resolve technical issues
• Identify technical issues and resolve computer hardware and software problems
• Continuously develop knowledge base of Supermicro current and new products
• Proactively resolving customers technical issues
• Act as the product expert, with deep technical understanding, engaging with both the product support team and development team to provide correct product solutions to customers
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of working / technical support experience in computer systems and/or servers is a plus
• Strong organizational and well-developed social skills
• Highly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player is a plus
• Excellent telephone etiquette skills and on-site support skills
• Excellent knowledge of Server / Workstation GPU products
• Strong communication skill in both verbal and written
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range
$66,560 - $117,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
