Duties:
Job Summary:
The Application & Licensing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Application & Licensing Director in the preparation, submission and navigation of regulatory approvals for applications and licenses for current and new markets. In addition, the Application & Licensing Specialist will provide general executive and administrative support. Collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to promote the *** values, team culture, and mission.
Essential Duties:
-Conduct research and prepare materials for feasibility and market studies, letters of intent, requests for proposals (RFPs), PACE provider applications, state-required licensing applications, and others.
-Conduct research for federal, state, and local rules and regulations to ensure inclusion in project documents as appropriate.
-Review technical documentation for projects to meet all submission instructions and requirements and assist with the preparation of submissions.
-Manage timeline of projects to meet internal and external deadlines.
-Interface and communicate with federal and state agencies regarding status and necessary steps for approval of projects.
-Coordinate the completion of projects with other team members and departments, as necessary.
-Anticipate needs and provide high-level administrative support.
-Manage calendars and schedules for multiple team members.
-Assist with special projects, as needed.
-Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
-Protect privacy and maintain confidentiality of all company procedures and information about team members, participants, and families.
-Follow *** policies and procedures and participate in any required Quality Improvement activities, staff training and meetings.
-Communicate regularly with Supervisor and team regarding workload and priorities.
-Timely completion of all mandated trainings and education.
-Timely completion of all mandated occupational health screenings as needed.
-Exercises flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve.
-Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Experience with application or grant management, or a closely related field.
-Experience with or working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, rules, and guidelines pertinent to PACE programs preferred.
-Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Work under time constraints to assist in meeting deadlines set internally and by government agencies.
-Customer service mindset.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
-Experience and competency working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
-Commitment to unlocking the full potential of our most vulnerable seniors.
Required Education:
-Bachelor s Degree.
Preferred Education:
-Master s Degree.
Schedule Notes: 8-5 in traveler's time zone with occasional meetings in PST. REMOTE
