About the Job
- create application packages and develop custom scripts based on business requirements.
- Reviews and assesses risk associated with new and existing 3rd party software titles producing corresponding documentation.
- Collects and analyses pertinent software documentation, industry statistics, release notes, vulnerability mgmt., and life cycle mgmt.
- Collaborates with Engineering, Operations, and Security teams.
- Documents their recommendations for approval or denial status based on collected evidence.
- Creates deployment packages and custom applications for net new software titles, upgrades, and application uninstalls.
- Creates, submits, and obtains approvals for application deployment change controls.
- Participates in QA and peer review process with Operations team.
- Documents tech specifications for all new and updated application packages.
- Manages required and available software deployments using SCCM/MECM.
- Performs other duties as directed.
