Application/Sales Engineer at Tandym Tech

A recognized services company in Buffalo, NY is currently seeking a new Application/Sales Engineer. In this role, the Applications Engineer will be responsible for giving product sales support and communicating technical requirements. This is an onsite opportunity.

Responsibilities:

The Application / Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

• Development and delivery of product demonstrations


• Representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, tradeshows, etc.


• Responding to functional and technical elements of RFQs/RFPs/ITTs


• Attracting potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services


• Recommending potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Product Applications and Project Management


• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field

Desired Skills:

• Excellent Communication skills (written and oral), as well as carry out responsibilities with minimal direction


• Must be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a geographically dispersed domestic and international customer base


• Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, and RFQs/RFPs


• Organizational and analytical skills required, with the ability to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
