Lead Application Support Engineer
Location: Hybrid role in Tampa (preferred), Dallas, Washington D.C., or Jersey City Salary: Up to $140,000 base with a 10% annual bonus potential
Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Lead Application Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role requires expertise in distributed application support and a wide range of technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support for distributed applications
- Manage and optimize application performance across various platforms
- Troubleshoot complex issues in diverse technological environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6 years of related experience, with at least 4 years in Distributed Application Support
- Strong experience in Java/J2EE, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and NodeJS platforms
- Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and SQL/PLSQL
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, Snowflake)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS services, Azure, RDS Aurora, Postgres)
- Familiarity with Container platforms and Red Hat OpenShift
- Knowledge of monitoring and data tools (Splunk, HiPam, DynaTrace, IBM Zolda)
- Experience with middleware (Tomcat, WebSphere) and messaging queue systems (IBM MQ, Oracle AQ, ActiveMQ)

This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of up to $140,000 with a 10-15% annual bonus potential. Tampa is the preferred location, but positions are also available in Dallas, Washington D.C., and Jersey City.
