The client is looking for a Technical Analyst to support the Parcview Application which is a realtime analytics software used in manufacturing facilities. ( DO NOT NEED TO HAVE PARCVIEW, ANY EXPERIENCE WITH MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS WILL WORK)

SALARY: 100- 150K

This person can sit in either Atlanta GA or Green Bay WI and can be a direct placement or contract to hire.

THIS IS NOT A DEV ROLE but more of technical BA. Must be good with customers and those with an engineering background have a great story of success within the organization. The VP said perhaps someone with an operations background and then worked heavily with technology in manufacturing, would be a good fit.. In addition this person doesn't have to have 15+ years experience. They are fine looking at an up and coming BA thats been in the manufacturing industry with manufacturing technology experience.

The client is hiring for a PARCView Technical Analyst, who will support and manage the day-to-day operations of the PARCView system as well as ensuring alignment with company objectives and user needs. This roll will collaborate with stakeholders, including users, developers, and business leaders, to gather requirements, understand pain points, and ensure the product meets expectations. Additionally, the position includes overseeing the administration of the PARCView system, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

What You Will Do

Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the Parcview system, aligning with company objectives and user needs

Collaborate with stakeholders, including users, developers, and business leaders, to gather requirements, understand pain points, and ensure the product meets expectations

Oversee the administration of the Parcview system, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability

Manage the day-to-day operation of the Parcview platform, including configuration, maintenance, software version updates, licensing, and troubleshooting

Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for reference and training purposes

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner

Integrate Parcview with other data sources and systems to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility

Convert legacy PI displays and other related assets to Parcview, ensuring functionality and user satisfaction

Knowledge share across mill sites enhancing effectiveness and speed to delivery of solutions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience in an IT Application Support or operations role supporting manufacturing or similar industry

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to manufacturing

Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively implement solutions

What Will Put You Ahead

Prior experience as a software platform owner

Prior experience with Parcview, PI ProcessBook, PI Vision or other process visualization tools (SCADA, HMI, etc)

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript for automation tasks

Knowledge of SQL and database management systems for data manipulation and reporting

Familiarity with industrial data systems and protocols (e.g., OPC, SCADA) for data acquisition
