Akkodis is seeking an Applications Analyst for a full-time direct hire remote opportunity. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in an Analyst role, including experience in Applications and Business Systems Analysis. The Applications Analyst will work as a member of a collaborative team responsible for analysis, planning, integrating, testing, debugging, configuring, supporting, and documenting packaged system applications; developing reports for users and business analysis; and performing troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Salary Range: $95-115K; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Applications Analyst job responsibilities include:
Capable of working independently as well as in teams to manage small to medium size project initiatives through planning, scope definition, analysis, testing, and implementation.
Implements, integrates, and provides administration and support for purchased software using department standard best practices, including following department standards for change management and application support.
SQL Server development and support including SSMS, data troubleshooting, writing stored procedures, complex queries, and T-SQL script writing.
Creates PowerShell scripts and macros for system support; collaborates and communicates with QA, support personnel, and other teams and vendors on support of operational systems; consults with users in the development of tests programs using test data and appropriate files; reviews results with users.
Demonstrates and further develops knowledge and/or experience in department standard programming/scripting languages and software development platforms and tools to better facilitate application implementation and support of systems/programs that meet requirements.
Participates in agile scrum teams on projects spanning both internal development and product selection/acquisition/integration in a Windows desktop and server environment.
May be asked to lead multi-disciplinary team to execute small to mid-sized project in lieu of project manager; coordinates communications between project team and business leaders; delegates assignments as needed; conducts day-to-day management of staff augmentation resources when required by project teams.
Compares advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives; manages self to Work Breakdown Structures with hours estimates; prototypes and conducts tests of custom and third-party business solutions; prepares system requirements and design specifications/documentation.
Interfaces with and manages vendor deliverables and acts as liaison and primary point of contact for assigned systems/platforms; installs and configures purchased/acquired software packages; performs required integration and scripting tasks required for implementation in the technical environment; prepares architectural and workflow diagrams; maintains knowledge of product roadmap.
Provides application and system administration and support; works with and coordinates with other IT services to implement and support applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years’ experience in all aspects of large and complex applications/systems including integrations, upgrades, configurations, management, and user support.
Extensive knowledge of and strong skills in the following items from the Microsoft technology stack:
SQL Server Database including writing stored procedures
Transact SQL
SSMS
Active Directory
Experience with report writing is required. SSRS or PowerBI is a plus.
Scripting language experience, preferably PowerShell, VB Script, or JavaScript.
· Financial systems or billing systems experience such as Aderant or Elite is a plus.
· SSIS or ServiceNow would be a plus.
Highly developed communications skills, both written and oral, as well as strong facilitation and leadership skills and mentoring abilities.
Capable of independently identifying, prioritizing and executing tasks to meet critical project deadlines.
Strong aptitude to learn, independent, with strong application/system intellect.
Highly collaborative and enjoys working in a team environment.
Conceptual knowledge of and development experience with delivery platform performance factors.
Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel with changing priorities and periodic stress-oriented situations, and still meet deadlines.
