Title: Software Test Engineer
Location: 99% percent remote, Need to be local to come onsite once every 3 months, Studio C
Duration: 18 months
 
Summary:

• The main function of a Software Test Engineer is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.

 
Job Responsibilities:

• Experience reviewing security context of windows software.
• Knowledge of windows security architecture.
• Experience with packet capture software
• Experience with sysinternals tools.
• DNS knowledge
• Networking experience
• Experience with windows registry
• Experience with sandbox security technologies and hyper-v
• Experience with Fiddler, wireshark and network monitoring tools.
• Experience with pcap and ncap tooling.
• Ability to analyze packet captures and their implications in a secure network.
• Ability to write and update scripts.
• Familiarity with Git and development tooling.

 
Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

• 8-10 years' experience required
• Experience testing software
• Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports
• Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing

 
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of Experience with Fiddler, wireshark and network monitoring tools.
• Minimum 2+ years Experience reviewing security context of windows software.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with Python, Powershell, Git, Sysinternals.
