About the Job
Responsibilities: The candidate should be able to:
- Design and develop code using VB.Net and C#
- Analyze code and component dependencies and develop in a configuration based system
- Work with SQL server databases
- Understand process design and technical requirements documentation.
- Work both independently and within a project team to design, develop and deliver software solutions for new and existing functionality.
- Analyze and build data for test, triage defects to draw conclusions, define issues and make appropriate recommendations.
- Act as a reliable source for early feedback on new functionality and feature changes
- Be able to document work and knowledge transfer as required
- Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced changing environment and manage changing priorities
- 4-5 years of Software development experience using VB.Net (Required)
- Proficient in SQL Server database development techniques (Required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (Required)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Superior organizational skills, self-driven with attention to detail and follow-through on tasks.
- Knowledge of Tax business processes
