About the Job
- Perform comprehensive image sensor verification to evaluate CMOS image sensor for functionality, pixel performance, image quality, and electrical performance. Prepare detailed verification report.
- Create and tune image sensor configurations to achieve optimal image quality, functionality and electrical performance.
- Review sensor and package specification, requirement and design documents during the NPI process, ensuring alignment with target applications.
- Create and review test board and AA board designs for sensor verification, evaluation and customer demonstration.
- Create and maintain sensor datasheet, application note, and reference design.
- Serve as primary technical interface for direct customer support and help FAEs support customers on image sensor application projects.
- Present the technical aspects of image sensor solutions during the pre-sales process, providing design guidance, and promoting solutions that meet the customer’s requirements.
- Provide expertise to support customers in system bring-up, reference settings, image quality tuning. Troubleshoot issue related to image quality and electrical performance.
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related fields plus two (2) years of experience in image sensing related occupation.
The required experience:
- CMOS image sensor and optics principles, image quality evaluation procedure and ISP tuning.
- Script language programming for image and data processing.
- Image quality evaluation, such as MTF, noise, uniformity, color.
- Interfaces such as MIPI, GMSL2/FPD-Link SerDes, I2C.
- Circuit design, test and debugging.
- Sensor system bring-up, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Version control tool.
- Lab devices, such as oscilloscope, signal generator, power supply, and multimeter.
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $151,091 - $155,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
