Position Summary
The Appraisal Desk Coordinator is responsible for all things appraisal related. In addition to managing appraisal orders from start to finish, this position plays an vital role in ensuring compliance is maintained by effectively being a liaison between our sales staff and appraisers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the active pipeline for appraisal orders requiring reassignment, those that have been declined, need further action, or are past due.
- Log case queries and address any issues related to appraisals.
- Order additional inspections as needed to support the appraisal process.
- Transfer case numbers as request are received.
- Requests and review appraisal documents for consistency and accuracy.
- Track invoices to ensure timely appraisal payments.
- Update the Loan Origination System (LOS) with relevant information and progress.
- Communicate effectively with loan originators and client managers to gather additional documentation.

Education and Experience
- 3 years' previous experience in appraisal services preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet and electronic mail software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of professional integrity.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Maintains a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with co-workers and supervisor.
- Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
- Attention to detail and quality focused.
- Encompass experience preferred.
