About the Job
City Group Hospitality is a lively culinary atmosphere and is looking for someone to work within a close-knit team at our Beasoleil Coastal Cuisine concept. We emphasize creating an environment that welcomes everyone and maintains a high standard for food and people. We are now accepting applications for an experienced and hardworking Prep Cook. Growth and personal advancement encouraged towards culinary goals to grow into a line cook, Sous Chef or Executive Chef position within the company. Individuals who apply must submit a current resume and should have the following skills and attributes:
· A passion for food including a desire to continue education to build new menu items when requested and a love of cooking.

$12.00 - $14.50 Per hour

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Our namesake, BROSSARD (Broussard), dit Beausoleil, JOSEPH, is a famed and revered leader of the Acadian people in the 1700’s. This settler was remembered for his courageous and valiant efforts in the resistance of the Acadians against the British; Joseph Brossard was ultimately the first to bring the Acadian people to what we now call present-day Louisiana. It is with the rich cultural and memorable Louisiana history in mind that guides everything we do in the kitchen at Beausoleil Coastal.
