TruckPro is seeking a Apprentice Diesel Mechanic - Driveline Technician (Hybrid Role) who will be responsible for general repairs for heavy duty trucks and rebuilding drivelines and grinding flywheels.

Apprentice Diesel Mechanic - Driveline Technician (Hybrid Role) Include:

• Perform repairs to diesel truck and trailers
• Perform basic welding functions
• Inform customer/manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changes
• Monitor the profit/loss of each job to maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality; minimize warranty claims and re-work
• Assemble and disassemble drivelines; wash parts, inspect parts and discard all damaged parts
• Take micrometer measurement of flywheels; set grinder and regrind flywheel to specifications
• Prepare list of required replacement parts on work order; Pull new parts from inventory
• Paint and label parts; Reassemble, time and balance if required
• Clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhering to all environmental, health and safety standards

Apprentice Diesel Mechanic - Driveline Technician (Hybrid Role) Candidates Will Have:

• In lieu of one year of Mechanic and Driveline Technician experience within the heavy duty industry, ability to perform as apprentice (on the job training with experienced technicians)
• Valid driver's license and/or CDL with good driving record

Hourly Pay Rate is based on relevant experience:

$20 - $24
