About the Job
Revise, Inc is a Mass Save Home Performance Contractor in the Residential Construction Field. We provide no-cost Home Energy Assessments and subsidized insulation and air sealing work for homeowners in Massachusetts.
We have been steadily growing over the past 6 years and are looking to bring on an apprentice electrician to perform a variety of electrical functions including maintenance, repair, installation and modification of equipment in residential homes for HVAC installs and home weatherization projects.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical wiring systems in residential homes.
- Working from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and maintenance and repair manuals, determine the routing of wiring and execute plan.
- Determine size, type and gauge of wiring, coupling, straps, conduits, etc. to install electrical circuits, equipment, and components.
- Utilize various conduit systems to include PVC, flexible, rigid and electrical metallic tubing.
- Inspect I.C. recessed lighting in accordance with Mass Save requirements for insulation.
- Review and assess knob and tub wiring for insulation installation in accordance with electrical codes and Mass Save program requirements.
- Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.

- Timely completion and accuracy of all work.
- Working closely and harmoniously with other employees.
- Performing and documenting complete operational checks for all equipment.
- Adherence to contract requirements, safety and health regulations, and company policies.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience working as an electrician in residential homes.
- Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
- Ability to work a non-traditional workweek and perform overtime duties as required.
- Outstanding technical knowledge, excellent people skills and focus on superior customer service.
- Team player; ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others.
Physical Demands:
- May perform work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
- May be exposed to inclement weather conditions and other work conditions including excessive heat, cold, wind, snow and storms.
- Requires extensive standing, walking, kneeling and bending.
- May be periodically required to lift items in excess of 50 lbs.
- Frequently exposed to noise, dust, dirt and other related hazards.
