About the Job
Currently seeking an Apprentice Electrician for commercial construction. Projects located throughout San Antonio.
Shift is Mon-Fri 7 am-4 pm.
Pay is up to $25/hr. depending on experience.
Job duties:
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation of electrical systems and components on commercial job sites.
- Run conduit and install wiring, circuit breakers, junction boxes, and all fixtures.
- Bend conduit according to project requirements.
- Follow blueprints to build commercial projects from ground up.
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe job site.
- All phases of new construction - underground, rough-in, and trim-out.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose on-site as needed.
- Operate lifts to run conduit overhead.
Requirements:
- Must have apprentice electrician TDLR card.
- Seeking at least 2 or more years in commercial construction.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively on a team.
- Previous experience bending conduit.
- Some projects require benders - need to be willing to obtain benders if do not have any.
- Commercial construction is required.
- Willing to work on multiple projects throughout San Antonio.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and various job site conditions.
- Must have tools, PPE, and reliable transportation.
