Apprentice Passive Geolocation Operator

BTS Software Solutions is seeking to fill the position of Geo-Location Operator to support operations in Ft Gordon, GA.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

What You'll Do

• This candidate will provide 24/7 operational support to the government.
• The individual will operate in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP’s) to provide active geolocation, report, and database results.
• Be able to use various tools and databases to include monitor data flow architecture and identify and communicate any problems or discrepancies; provide first-instance troubleshooting; provide technical/operational guidance to customers.
• Provide graphic presentations that contribute to the Division’s Weekly Activity Report and brief, as required.
• Educate supported units in capabilities.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in geolocation within the last five years and experience with communications IC collection equipment is required.
• Experience with ground, airborne, and/or national geo-location systems is preferred.
• Previous experience with processing collection data files.
• Must perform duties any day of the week, any shift, on a 24/7 basis in the government-designated spaces.
• DF or RF Operations with NSA, SCE, other intel agency or govt contractor, successful completion Passive Certification program
• Must be available to perform duties and provide service in support of normal duty hours, outside of normal duty hours, including hours in excess of a regular shift period, including weekends, holidays, inclement weather, and in excess of 40 hours per week.
• Previous target experience with the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia is beneficial.
• Experience in other certifications, technologies, and other wireless technologies are highly desired.
• Desired Languages: Formal Training or Proficiency-Arabic-Yemeni, Arabic-Iraqi, Arabic-Maghrabi, Farsi, Pashto, Russian, Chinese-Mandarin, Korea, Chechen, Somali
• Desired Certs: Real-Time RF COMINT Collection (Ariborne/Space, Terrestrial, NTM) Manual, automatic, and/or synthetic Time/Freq Diff of Arrival (T/FDOA) Geo Ops of Comint, Multi-aperature DF/
• Highly Desired Cert: NSAG Geolocation Qualification Course / SCE Collection Operator Cert

Desired Skills:

• DoD, Service Certs in the following- GSM, CDMA, EVDO, WiFi and UMTS
• Geolocation Qualification Course SCE Collection Operator Cert
• Prior Military- 35x, 1Nx, CTx, IS, 0206
