JOB DESCRIPTION:
+ Provides hand off support between the business and technical resources in application installation and maintenance of large scale applications + Ensures appropriate integration across an application suite + Ensures appropriate change management procedures are followed by all application teams + Works closely with application technical support to ensure appropriate tools are developed and technical issues are resolved + Uses established fact-finding procedures, knowledge of pertinent processes and procedures and in depth understanding of programming practices and software to provide required technical analysis of user problems + Identifies, isolates, and solves complex application programming and technical problems within production clinical and business systems + Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected + Performs most tasks with minimal direction from management + Provides production support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment + Must be able to lead and engage others in various IT tasks + Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures + Mentors others + Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist + Performs related responsibilities as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ 7 years of application systems/administration experience OR five years experience with a bachelor's degree. Must be able to lead, engage, and mentor others + A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected + Must be proficient in three or more programming languages and/or application systems implemented in production + Based on established hospital/department/unit standards, employees may not perform all duties listed in this job description
