APRN Inpatient Neurology Opportunity w/ UofL Health-South Hospital at U of L Physicians

UofL Health/UofL Physicians Group is seeking an APRN for the Department of Neurology to provide inpatient ER Stroke and General Neurology care at UofL Health- South Hospital.

Responsibilities Include:

• Neurological assessment and patient management
• Communication with other providers to implement patient plan of care. 
• Reviews diagnostic tests. 
• Orders/Prescribes within scope of practice. 
• Monitors patient response to treatment and adjusts treatment accordingly. 

Requirements:

• Masters of Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum experience as APRN of one (1) year.
• Current Licensure in state of Kentucky as an APRN.
• National certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Current DEA certificate without restriction.
• Position hours are 8 am- 5 pm, Monday through Friday
