Executive Director for the Meyers Lake YMCA

Job Summary:

Great opportunity to lead newly renovated full facility YMCA branch in Canton, Ohio. During the winter and spring of 2016 the facility underwent a fully funded major renovation. The 40,000 square foot facility includes: six lane pool, group exercise studio, wellness center, gymnasium, four locker rooms, school age child care space, youth rooms, and outdoor program space. In addition the branch provides school age care to over 380 students a day at 10 sites, in three separate school districts, and 150 campers a day in the summer camp program.

The YMCA of Central Stark County has a strong history of operating success: 1 out of 10 people in the service area are Y members, 18 consecutive years of balanced budgets, and high member and staff satisfaction ratings. Association is a YMCA of the USA Partner Y providing services in financial management, program and membership development. Stark County is home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Values consistent with the YMCA
• Four year degree preferred
• Previous management experience with budget responsibilities of at least $750,000
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• 5 years of experience in community or social service programming
• Prior experience in childcare programming a plus

Salary:
