Seeking an Aquatic Fitness Instructor. Seeking instruction in general water fitness classes. Times needed are mornings generally 8-11 AM.
The DRC is seeking an aquatic instructor with experience in group fitness instruction or related teaching experience. DRC is willing to train the right person for the position.
Essential Job Functions (listing most important first):
- To coordinate and develop an exercise program on the dates and times assigned by the Fitness Coordinator.
- Take an accurate daily attendance report to be turned in on the proper form.
- Make recommendations for the improvement of the program to the Fitness Coordinator.
- Work all dates pertaining to the fitness program.
- Carry out all duties assigned by the Fitness Coordinator relating to the program.
- Insure that facilities and equipment are properly maintained and assure proper order after every class.
Additional Functions:
- Carry out all duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Attend all training and workshops assigned by the Fitness Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Should have proper knowledge of exercise programs.
- She/he should be energetic and proficient in the promotion of a progressive program.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Should maintain CPR/PR and First Aide certifications.
- Able to pass pre employment screening
