High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or related field preferred.
A minimum of 1-2 years of aquatic supervisory experience preferred.
Minimum age of 21.
Current Lifeguard Certification (YMCA or Red Cross).
Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, And AED certification.
Current Oxygen Management certification.
Current Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or YMCA Swim Instructor (YSL) certification.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent preferred, or willingness to obtain.
YSL Trainer and Y Lifeguard Trainer certifications obtained within one year of hire date.
