About the Job
- AR/Billing Specialist will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation
- Prepare and submit invoices to government clients in compliance with contract terms and government regulations
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
- Maintain accurate records of all billing and collections activities
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
- Generate and analyze AR aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate action
- As an AR/Billing Specialist, you will assist with month-end closing activities related to AR and billing
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government contracting requirements
- Provide excellent customer service to government clients and address any billing inquiries
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections, preferably in a government contracting environment
- Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
