AR/Collections Specialist

Location: Renton (On-site)
Salary Range: $54,040 – $58,240

About the Role:
As an AR/Collections Specialist, you’ll manage accounts receivables by contacting customers regarding past-due balances, preparing aging reports, and maintaining accurate records. Experience with AS400 and Excel is a plus. You will also help clean and update the customer database to ensure accuracy.

Overview of the AR/Collections Specialist Role:

• Managing customer accounts by calling customers on past-due accounts.
• Generating and reviewing aging reports to track overdue payments.
• Documenting collection activities and interactions with customers.
• Cleaning and updating customer databases to ensure accuracy.
• Utilizing AS400 and Excel for tracking, reporting, and collections processes.
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

Preferred Qualifications for the AR/Collections Specialist Role:

• Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in AR/Collections or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Excel (required) and AS400 is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
