ARCHITECT ($80K to $110K)
Our client is a growing and dynamic firm with nearly two decades of experience across the Southeast and beyond.
You will be working on a diverse range of projects, including industrial sites, commercial centers, municipal developments and residential communities, from initial concept through to final construction.
With a focus on innovative and practical designs, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that specializes in site development, foundation and structural design, water and sewer systems, stormwater management, and more.
As an Architect, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of regional development while utilizing the latest technologies to improve communities across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to conceptualize and develop designs that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and meet regulatory standards.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from the initial planning phase through to final construction, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Coordination: Work alongside structural engineers, civil engineers, and other specialists to integrate architectural designs with technical aspects such as foundation, structural, and water management systems.
- Site Planning: Create site layouts and master plans, ensuring efficient land use and compliance with zoning regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and models for client approval and construction.
- Client Liaison: Meet with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with design progress.
- Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design practices and materials where possible, adhering to environmental best practices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
- Inspection & Quality Control: Visit construction sites to ensure that the design intent is being followed during the building process, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Licensure:
- Licensed Architect or working towards licensure, with knowledge of building codes and regulations. LEED certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in architectural design, including experience in commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and/or other architectural design software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and creativity in design solutions.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and experience integrating green technologies into architectural projects.
