Selectek has an opportunity for a talented Architectural Designer for a contract-to-hire position in Charlotte, NC with a high-end, custom residential Architecture firm. This is an exciting opportunity to transition to a permanent role within 6 months.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to gather accurate measurements.
- Translate design visions into clear and concise technical drawings, leveraging your expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Collaborate effectively with the design team to analyze and solve design challenges.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to revisions.
- Maintain a comprehensive library of standard design options for future projects.
- Attend client meetings as needed to present design concepts.
- Stay up-to-date on North Carolina house building codes and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in architectural and design drafting, with a focus on high-end residential/multifamily projects.
- Strong passion for design and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and SketchUp.
- Solid understanding of construction terminology, methods, and materials.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong 3D visualization skills and the ability to interpret construction plans.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
