About the Job
•Interpret architectural/structural intent from contract documents
•Understand how to handle discrepancies in contract documents
•Modify drawings as red-marked by another team member
•Know the budgeted time per sheet or per detail and keep track of own progress
•Check own plot of drawings before giving them to the Team Leader or Project
Manager and mark in red anything that is in question
•Give Team Leader updated drawings as they are done or revised
•Draw elevations, plans and sections as directed by the Team Leader
•Draw details as directed by the Team Leader
•Dependable for accuracy and precision
•Able to draw using good presentation practices
•Able to follow basic seal lines and ensure system air/water integrity
•Able to understand deadload/windload connections
•Understand system movements due to thermal, live-load and dead-load
•Learning detail build-ability and effects to customer costs
•Read and understand shop drawings in order to draw fabrication drawings
•Draw fabrication drawings as directed by the Team Leader
•Input final tags on elevations while drawing individual fabrication drawings
•All other tasks as assigned or as apparent
