Seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join the talented Grand Junction team and lead projects from concept through completion.
Position Overview:
The Architectural Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from design development and client meetings to construction administration. This role requires a strong leader with outstanding communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture, a solid understanding of construction processes, and a proven record of successful project delivery.
100% Relocation paid if outside of the Grand Junction area
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams in developing design solutions that align with client goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and team members.
- Oversee all phases of project development, including conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, and other team members to ensure a smooth project workflow.
- Conduct site visits, oversee project progress, and address any issues that may arise during construction.
- Prepare and review project documents to ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and standards.
- Mentor and guide junior staff and team members to enhance skill development and project contributions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related fielld.
- Licensed Architect preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of local codes, building regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
