About the Job
Responsibilities
- Monitoring database components for multiple mission-critical applications in all environments until production.Complete performance tuning of SQL Code and databases, which includes
- troubleshooting, writing queries, and reviewing application code and database parameters.
- Perform automation of database deployments and improve efficiency with self-serve capabilities.
- Conduct database maintenance activities.
- Complete data migration activities such as data migration, deployments, etc.
- Maintain database security and standards.
- Support application releases requiring database script execution and deployment. Partial virtual/work-from-home benefit available.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science of a closely related field and 5 years of IT experience (or a master's degree in computer science or a closely related field and 3 years of IT Experience).
- Must have experience with:
- database administration; healthcare insurance domain;
- Oracle; TOAD; SQL Developer; uDeploy; Jenkins; Liquibase;
- and Unix Shell Scripting.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
