Area Access Management System Administrator at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc.

The Area Access Management System Administrator, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, requires the ability to operate both at the tactical and operational levels. The Administrator ensures that only authorized persons are able to access the appropriate spaces while applying principles of the "Zero-Trust" model to the corporate security program. In this role, it is important to review logical connections between permissions groups and physical devices and auditing access levels to identify misconfigurations while validating that only verified persons have the relevant permissions, and autonomously driving the execution of necessary changes to the system to closure.

Essential Functions:

1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
2. Support the client's Regional Program Security Manager on day-to-day approval of access requests across multiple sites and execute against individual need and verified persons lists.
3. Proactively audit system connections between device and access permission to identify potential misconfigurations that could unintentionally allow unwanted access to restricted spaces
4. Drive the execution of action items related to correcting misconfigurations or removing individual permissions to closure.
5. Cultivate intimate understanding of space functions, owners, and occupying organizations that will allow the applicant to apply the principle of least privilege (PoLP) to individual permissions.
6. Manage multiple area access management security workflows crucial to operational success.
7. Analyze datasets and space layouts and leverage software systems to accomplish key tasks.
8. Assist with security design and implementation for facilities.
9. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Degree preferred and three or more years within similar physical security roles including Lenel OnGuard experience. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Working Conditions:

Salary & Benefits Information:
Rate of pay: $50.48 /hour.
