About the Job
This is a first line management role in which you will build and lead a sales team of 6-8 senior account managers and oversee strategic sales engagements into strategic financial services accounts (existing customers as well as target white space prospects)
The candidate will combine entrepreneurial spirit with general management skills to drive profitable revenue growth and market share gains
Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services
Develop executive relationships with key leaders and influencers in the Financial Services Industry
Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning contract bids, proposals, and RFI/RFP responses
Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships.Responsibilities:Lead and motivate a team of Major Account Managers focused on the Financial Services vertical market.Develop account and territory go-to-market plans to achieve goals and exceed quota.Serve as lead contact responsible for the flow of information to and from executive management.Work closely with the account managers in order to maximize the primary business objectives and serve as team leader, responsible for the quality and success of activities in the territory.Develop relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners.Manage effective working relationships with assigned region GAMs, MAMs, Technical Sales Engineers, and Consulting Professionals.Consistently build territory pipeline; maintain and submit accurate, detailed business forecasts.Travel within assigned territory is required.Required Skills: 10+ years technology selling experience managing a team.Proven ability to sell solutions to the Financial Services Industry.A proven track record of consistent over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.Experience in leading complex contract negotiations and closing large deals.Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle.Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in network security industry, MBA preferred.Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program. On target earnings for this position is expected to be $330,000- $480,000 per year.
