In conjunction with the Vice President of Operations, the Area Director is responsible for overseeing management, customer service and operations at those facilities under his/her auspices to ensure adherence to policies and procedures and professional standards as established by AdvantageCare. The Area Director consults with Directors of Rehabilitation (DOR) to enhance efficiencies in facility-related systems, staff scheduling, treatment planning and resource allocation.
What You'll Do
- Implements directives, policies, procedures and standards as developed for AdvantageCare Rehabilitation and monitors staff adherence.
- Manages facility-based computerized billing system (or non-computerized equivalent), designates the supervision of the facility-based responsibilities to DOR and offers consultation and support as needed. Also generates special report/data as needed to assist the VP in assessing the efficiency of operations.
- Communicates/interacts with AdvantageCare staff and facility personnel to ensure continued satisfaction with delivery of care.
- Investigates and problem solves in the resolution of staff, service and patient related issues as requested by the DOR.
- Reviews the quality and appropriateness of the total services delivered and of individual therapy programs for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Projects a positive and professional image at all times.
- Adheres to established confidentiality standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
About You
- You must be a licensed therapist or Assistant (Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapy Assistant) in the state of PA
- You have previous management experience in Skilled Nursing
