Area Manager - Better Talent

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Area Manager to join our team in Galveston. This role is crucial in ensuring our homes are well-maintained and guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay. 

To be successful, project management, maintenance, handyman skills, and the ability to delegate effectively while maintaining a budget. You must be a reliable self-starter who can work well with team members, guests, homeowners, and third-party vendors in a professional and timely manner. 

Your areas of responsibility will be basic maintenance tasks, ensuring smooth turnovers that adhere to our standards, supporting other team members, and attending to any issues that may arise at our properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete property inspections between guests for assigned properties.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs and report higher level maintenance issues; Hire and contract complex maintenance jobs when necessary. 
• Improve processes of the field operations. 
• Monitor, maintain, restock and organize supply storage closets in the homes.
• Manage and assist with new property onboarding and setups where needed.
• Direct and assist other Property Field Specialists in the fulfillment of their duties as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience is a must. 
• A background in general residential home maintenance is required.
• Experience in vacation rentals or property management is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and communication skills. 
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
• Able to work a Sunday - Thursday schedule. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly: $22 - $25
