- Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000 (depending on experience)

What You'll Do
- Ensure safety programs are compliant (Injury Illness Prevention, Hazard Identification, Hazard Control and Correction, CMC safety regulations, policies and procedures)
- Conducts on-site safety inspections to identify hazards and compliance with OSHA and CMCA safety programs
- Responsible for developing and executing strategic safety initiatives
- Monitors changes to health and safety rules and regulations and integrates them into company standards, processes, and practices
- Provides assistance and supervision to area safety coordinators regarding division safety programs and regulations
- Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- Minimum 10 years experience in a safety leadership role desired
- Minimum 5 years experience in safety-related field
- Ability to travel up to 40%, with occasional overnight travel required
- Experience in the construction industry preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with a variety of employees at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence actions of others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Motivate employees to follow the safety culture through administration of a Proactive Safety Measure program and consistent communication of CMC safety standards
- Good Analysis and evaluation skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Must be able to conceptualize, develop, and execute safety initiatives
Your Education
- Bachelor’s degree required. Industrial/environmental safety or construction management or related discipline preferred.
- A combination of formal education and/or directly related work experience may substitute for the degree.
- OSHA 30 Construction
- OSHA 500/510 Preferred
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED designation a plus.
