We are seeking a(an) Armed Police Officer PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

* You will be responsible for the physical security of the building, emergency department and parking lots.

* You will assist hospital patients, visitors and employees and acknowledge their needs in a timely manner.

* You will respond to various emergency codes to provide security services where appropriate and facilitate communication between hospital and police department during emergency situations.

* Prepares written reports as necessary, including daily activity reports, and incident reports as required.

What qualification you will need:

* Current certification through Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCLOE), is required.

* License to carry a weapon/gun, is required.

* Current experience as a Police Officer, is required.

* 2 years of current experience as a Police Officer, highly preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
