Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency, Inc. is currently seeking experienced and qualified individuals to join our team as an Armed Security Officer in the Memphis, TN metropolitan area.
We are a paramilitary and para-policing State of Tennessee contract security company, and 8(a) U.S. Government contractor where we provide private protective services and security solutions on a global scale. Our goal is to provide quality and professional, preventive, protective services in an ethical manner and in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Our highly skilled team is comprised of current and former military, law-enforcement, security officers as well as professionals with corrections backgrounds. Our officers will always encourage an environment of safety, by consistently operating at a heightened state of awareness and a superior level of dedication and preparedness.

Qualifications
- Must be a citizen of the United States and be able to start work immediately.
- Must be a High School Graduate or possess a GED
- Must have possession of an active State of Tennessee Armed Security Guard Card
- Must have own weapon & duty belt with Level II or III holster
- Proficient in firearms knowledge and the ability to successfully qualify on additional weapon, if needed
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience working as a licensed security officer.
- Good moral character with no convictions for DUI, Domestic Violence, Drug or Narcotics charges, theft or other dishonest acts.
- No disability that would hinder the ability to perform required duties
- Must be able to successfully pass a physical agility test and drug test
- Must have a valid driver’s license to be considered to operate a company vehicle
- Strong observation skills and able to give attention to detail.
- Must not have been dishonorably discharged from U.S. military service
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Must be able to work as a team or independently
- Applicant must be in good physical condition and have appropriate endurance, be able to protect themselves and others, be able to effectively use firearms and other equipment, be able to function in all applicable environments and climates and be able to withstand sudden emotional stress and physical exertion. Applicant may be required to run, jump, climb or crawl. Medical approval may be requested, or required before applicant can be considered.
- Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other security equipment to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned post and on client’s property to deter and detect any criminal activity
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents
- Enforce access control procedures, while verifying identification, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and/other team members as needed to maintain a safe environment
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong ability to recognize, analyze and enforce security measures to mitigate potential risks
- Must uphold agency’s principles and adhere to all standard operating procedures
- Perform all other duties as assigned
