We are hiring a Part-time/Full-time ARMHS Clinical Supervisor to provide guidance, supervision, training, and education to mental health practitioners and ensure compliance with DHS requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a valid license with the mental health professional's governing health-related licensing board and must only provide services to a client within the scope of practice determined by the applicable health-related licensing board.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments/ admission for new client updates, as necessary.
- Meet with ARHMS practitioners for individual supervision as needed and accurately document supervision per DHS guidelines.
- Conduct annual evaluations of ARHMS practitioners and provide feedback.
- Assist with planning and facilitating the monthly group supervision.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all mental health services provided.
- Ensure Diagnostic Assessments, Functional Assessments, WHODAS, progress notes, and other necessary documents are completed promptly and according to DHS guidelines.
- Ensure that all documentation is signed by you, the Clinical Supervisor, and the ARMHS worker.
- Oversee treatment/intervention reflective of client needs, stated in terms of expected outcomes, including strategy.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the State, the County, community providers, and other external stakeholders in Behavioral Health.
- Assure program participant privacy is maintained by being knowledgeable and following HIPAA privacy and security regulation.
Required Qualification:
- clinical nurse specialist in child or adolescent, family, or adult psychiatric and mental health nursing by a national certification organization; or
- nurse practitioner in adult or family psychiatric and mental health nursing by a national nurse certification organization.
- A licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) as defined in section 148E.050, subdivision 5;
- A psychologist licensed by the Board of Psychology under sections 148.88 to 148.98;
- A physician licensed under chapter 147 if the physician is:
- certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.
- or eligible for board certification in psychiatry.
- A marriage and family therapist licensed (LMFT) under sections 148B.29 to 148B.392; or
- A licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) licensed under section 148B.5301.
