Art Director at Gus Perdikakis Associates

Art Director will partner with copywriters, account managers and digital specialists to meet creative director’s expectations and clients’ objectives within the company.
 
This is a 3-year contract position working for a large well-known utilities company
The role is based in Raleigh, NC and is hybrid
Only candidates that live within 40 miles of Raleigh will be considered.

What is a typical day like?

• Ensure the delivery of creative, effective communications consistent with the company’s brand standards and voice
• Create story boards for online content including videos
• Deliver materials for a broad spectrum of communications channels, including emails, website, video, animation, radio, audio, digital ads (HTML5), direct mail, print ads, PowerPoint presentations.
• Present materials to clients; effectively resolve issues and make necessary revisions.
• Provide expertise in effective messaging for various audiences and guidance for applying the company’s style guide and brand voice.

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Associate’s degree or high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of work experience with art direction, graphic, web, mobile, and motion design (animation)
• Strong art direction/design portfolio
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or Adobe XD, presentation software (eg., Microsoft Powerpoint, Keynote, Prezi)
• Experience with creating storyboards, advertising, marketing, corporate or customer-facing materials
• Recent experience with customer marketing via email ads and direct marketing
• Knowledge of various social media channels – Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
