AS540 - Part-Time/Full-Time Nanny - Miami Beach, FL - British American Household Staffing

A young growing family in Miami Beach is seeking a nanny to assist with their 2.5-year-old son and baby girl, due in December. The family is hoping to find a nanny who is willing to start part-time with a schedule of 25-30 hours/week, and increase to full-time hours once the baby arrives. The expected schedule will currently be Monday through Friday, 12-5pm, and will be 8am-5pm once full-time. 

• Transporting the 2-year-old home from school and to extracurriculars 
• Planning engaging outings and activities
• Child related laundry and tidying
• Children's meal preparation
• Managing sleep and feeding schedules

• Experience with newborns, and ability to care for infants and toddlers, though the nanny won't generally care for both children at the same time 
• Warm and nurturing, and the ability to balance of kindness and fun with discipline and structure
• Passionate about childcare- consider nannying to be a career
• Inquisitive and knowledgeable about childhood development, but willing to defer to parental wishes around childrearing 
• Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
• Collaborative and able to work as a team with involved parents 

• Driver's license and clean driving record- the nanny can use their own car or the family car for work use
• Must be comfortable with yearly flu and Covid vaccines, must be up to date on TDap and willing to take a TB test 
• Local to Miami Beach- the family is not willing to relocate
• Long-term experience in previous roles 

• $30-35/hr.
