Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Irving is currently seeking to hire an experienced, skilled, and self-motivated Certified Master Technician who can perform diagnostics and maintenance in all areas of automotive repair. This Master Technician is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to other members of the technician team. This individual will perform advanced and accurate repairs according to daily work instructions as requested by management or Service Advisor.
Job functions include but not limited to:
- Evaluates and implements the Technician's Repair Order in accordance with the dealership standards. The Master Technician is expected to repair and/or execute the following range of mechanical tasks.
- Emissions controls systems, throttle body injection, anti-lock brake systems, cruise control, drivability issues, imports fuel injection, ignition, auto transmissions, AC systems, and four-wheel drive internal components, improve electrical and non-computerized issues, and accessory installations.
- Communicates with the Shop Foreman and Service Advisor regarding the vehicle's maintenance issues and for the customers' inquiries. The Technician provides estimates of labor duration and cost for each Repair Order.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks aimed to sustain the vehicle's longevity and functionality. The Technician adheres to dealership policies regarding customer vehicle care and operations.
- Educates, advocates, and adheres to federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Mandatory: ASE Master Certification. Pay based on experience.
- Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Accuracy to write routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
