As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions in a diverse technology stack, including .NET, React, SQL, Databricks, Python, and Elasticsearch. This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX office location as determined by SHI management.

Including, but not limited to:
- Software Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain software solutions using various programming languages and technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, React, SQL Server, Postgres, Databricks, Python, Terraform, and Elasticsearch.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years experience developing modern web applications using Java, C#, or Python backends and Angular, React or Vue frontends
- 5+ years experience with C#, ASP.NET Core and the .NET ecosystem (.NET 5+)
- Proven experience using object-oriented programming and modern front-end frameworks, along with data modeling and database design
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, readily adapting to changing project requirements and technologies.
- Conceptual Understanding: Demonstrate an understanding of software engineering concepts, data structures, algorithms, and best practices.

Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with developing Platforms-as-a-Service applications on either Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
- Experience designing and implementing event-driven and distributed architectures
- Experience using Databricks or a similar platform to manage data pipelines
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies and concepts, including CI/CD
- Understanding of Test-driven development (TDD) and an ability to write practical unit tests
- Less than 10% of travel needed
- This position's estimated annual pay range is $115,000- $180,000 including a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
