Community Coach 1 Fulltime (I/DD Skills Needed)

Qualifications and Licensing Requirements:

• One-year experience working with I/DD & Special populations
• A high school diploma or GED required
• Willing to provide customer transportation using your vehicle
• Valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record
• ASL: American Sign Language Certification required.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm; Varies based on customer's needs.

Rate: $17.00 per hour

Job type: Full-Time 35- 40 hrs/week

Location: 28217; surrounding areas

What You'll Do:

• Work one-on-one or one-on-three providing support for activities in the Charlotte area
• Help customers explore new things, pursue their interests, & help with socialization
• Responsible to oversee customer participation in activities as described in the goal plan
• Maintain health and safety of everyone
• Provide reliable transportation
• Maintains credentials (training)
• Assure confidentiality

What We Need:

The Community Coach provides the support necessary to assist an adult with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in a variety of community activities. Activities may be in the individual's home, community, or work site in the Charlotte area.

All InReach applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
