Description: Our client is currently seeking a ASSC PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR to join their team!
Scope of role:
Location: Bedford, TX
Hours: M-F 8am to 5pm
Job Engagement: Contract
Job Description:
- Interact with internal and external customers in a courteous manner in person and via telephone
- Complete check in and check out tasks ?
- Schedule new and existing patients
- Verify insurance and complete pre-authorizations and/or precertification of procedures
- Answer back-line telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns and take messages as needed.
- Sorting of documents received via facsimile and distribution of incoming postal mail
- Scanning of all patients
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of medical business office experience
- 1+ years of experience with EMR computer applications
